Chair Pilates Class

This is a gentle Pilates Class which is carried out on a chair. A great way to keep mobile whilst seated. This class is still a challenge. This can be booked as a pay as you go or as an over 65's or part of a plan.

Spaces are limited so booking is essential.

Enhanced Balance and Stability: Chair Pilates exercises challenge your balance and stability, as you perform movements while sitting or standing on the chair. This helps to improve proprioception (the body’s awareness of its position in space) and overall balance. Increased Energy and Stamina: Regular practice of chair Pilates can help improve your energy levels and overall stamina. The controlled movements and focus on breathing during the exercises can invigorate your body and mind, leaving you feeling energized and refreshed. Accessible and Low Impact: Chair exercises are accessible to individuals of all fitness levels and can be performed by those with limited mobility or injuries. The seated position reduces the impact on the joints, making it a safe and effective way to exercise. Improved Cardiovascular Health: Chair exercises can elevate your heart rate and improve cardiovascular health, similar to traditional aerobic exercises. By incorporating intervals of higher intensity movements, such as arm raises or leg lifts, you can increase your heart rate and improve your overall cardiovascular fitness.
